December 2022

A solitary motorcycle adventure in Morocco.

Scroll

I always wanted to ride my motorcycle in the desert and to wake up surrounded by the dunes. I got the opportunity to do so in December 2022, below the pictures of my solitary motorcycle adventures in Morocco.

Chapter 1 - The Desert

Crossing more than 700Km thought the desert was not an easy task but I could enjoy some amazing landscapes and clear sky with millions of stars shining…

“That moment in between darkness and light”

“The ride from Tissint to Sidi Ifni was going to be long but I felt lucky to witness the sunrise over the Draa Valley”

Chapter II - The Atlantic coast

After many days of desert and heat, it was great to see again the ocean. The vastness of the blue Atlantic was in net contrast with the red rocks of the Moroccan coastline.

The morning air was crisp and cold, a chill breeze from the Atlantic bringing the scent of salt. I admired the beach's golden sands under dawn's soft light, with gentle waves reflecting the morning sky. The grand arch stood as a sentinel, surrounded by rugged cliffs, their weathered surfaces holding years of history. Seabirds soared, their cries mixing with the surf, while scattered shells dotted the shoreline. Despite the chill, the breathtaking view filled me with wonder, capturing the coastal landscape's raw beauty and solitude.

Chapter III - The cities

Getting lost in Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakesh… what a wonderful experience made of vivid colours, sounds, scents and moroccan history.

The last sunrise in Morocco was breathtaking, a fitting farewell to an amazing trip.
